Our real estate agency uses its comprehensive expertise on the commercial real estate market and extensive experience with all aspects of the investment process to structure stable and profitable investment funds. We do not merely select buildings, we base our decisions on all relevant aspects: location, tenants, building potential and surrounding area. Office buildings will only be considered for our funds after an extensive due diligence. Our strategy and policies are primarily focused on generating added value for investors and tenants. Strict cost and quality control are among our primary objectives. It is the interest of the investors we serve first and foremost.

What is my participation worth?

Unfortunately, we cannot give you a conclusive answer. However, there are a number of factors that give a good indication. In general, those are:

  • The purchase value: the amount paid for the partcipation.
  • the fiscal value: the value you pay taxes on. You can find the fiscal value on the fiscal instructions available on the My Hanzevast web portal.
  • The accounting value: the value in relation to the equity of the fund. You can find the equity in the annual report of the fund available for download on the My Hanzevast web portal. This is the so-called intrinsic value.

When will the fiscal instructions of my investments be available?

Our aim is to publish the fiscal instructions mid March at the latest. You will receive an email when the fiscal instructions are available for download on the My Hanzevast web portal.

What is my participation worth?

You can find all fund-related documents on the My Hanzevast web portal.

How often am I informed about the state of affairs of the fund in which I participate?

You are informed about the developments concerning your fund four times a year. The contents of these circulars (including the profit and loss account and leasing information) are prepared by the fund managers who are responsible with the day-to-day management of the funds. Once a year an annual report is published after a thorough audit by our accountant.

How are the buildings valued for tax valuation?

The certificate is a keepsake of the initiation of the fund. The certificate has no real value and does not grant the holder ownership of the participation nor right to payments from the fund. We cannot supply you with a copy, but we can make a new certificate.

Who do I contact if I have trouble with activating my web portal account?

If you need help with activating your account, you can email us on portal@hanzevast.nl. You can also call us on 0900 - 1343 (15 cents per minute; maximum of 1 euro per call). Please do not hesitate to contact us.

Is it possible to transfer my participations?

This depends on the fund in which you participate. You can find out about the transfer possibility of your fund in the prospectus avaible for download on the website and web portal. If transfer is possible, the seller and buyer need to concact us via participanten@hanzevastcapital.nl. We would like the contact details of the buyer and seller, the agreed purchase price and the number of participations to be transferred. The transfer procedure will be started after we have received this information.

Please note, there are costs involved with transferring participations, €1,000 excluding VAT for shipping funds and €750 excluding VAT for real estate funds.

How can I notify you of a change of address and such?

Can I get a copy of my certificate of participation? What is the value of the certificate?

The certificate is a keepsake of the initiation of the fund. The certificate has no real value and does not grant the holder ownership of the participation nor right to payments from the fund. We cannot supply you with a copy, but we can make a new certificate.

When will the annual meetings take place?

Our goals is to hold the annual meetings of the funds in March or April of the following year.

How am I informed about the state of affairs of the fund in which I participate?

We have developed the web portal “My Hanzevast” specifically for our participants. All information concerning the funds is published here, including financial reports, minutes of meetings and fiscal instructions.

Through My Hanzevast we can keep you up to date even faster and more efficient than before. Do you participate in one or more of our funds, but you don’t have an account for our web portal? Then we advice you to sign up as possible. To do this, please go to our home page and click on “My Hanzevast” at the top right corner of your screen.

What should I do in case a participant dies?

If a participant in one of the funds of Hanzevast dies, their participations and/or bonds can be transfered to their heirs. To do this, the heirs need to inform us as soon as possible via participanten@hanzevastcapital.nl. In addition, we need the following information to officially transfer the participation:

  • Certificate of inheritance, certificate of executele or a will. If possible, including proof of power of attorney to deal with the estate.
  • A copy of the identity docuement of the deceased.
  • A copy of the identity document of the new participant.

Furthermore, we need the following details of the new participant:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Bank account number.

The participations and/or bonds will be transferred after receiving, approving and processing the above information.


Global equity

When are the annual reports of the Global Equity funds available?

The annual reports of the Global Equity funds will be published in the third quarter of the following year at the earliest. This because of the fund-on-funds character of the funds. First, all the books of the individual companies in the fund need to be closed and then those of the Private Equity funds. Because of this, it is not possible to draw up the annual report earlier.
